    HIV / AIDS Intervention

    • Strengthen Youth – Expanding life skills and values formation programmes
    • Skills based Peer Education – Expanding peer-to-peer education programmes to ensure requisite skills are built and linking with appropriate youth-friendly services
    • Advocacy – Through open dialogue that raise awareness of harmful cultural practices and advocating against stigma and discriminations with one voice and with consistent messages
    • Livelihoods – Approaches that not only provide marketable job skills development and income ensuring opportunities for young people but also strengthen community safety nets by providing the similar income earning opportunities  to orphans ‘care giver’ to child heads of households and to families weakened by the diseases and by famine

    Global Y's Trainee Programme

    It is an exchange programme between Tanzania YMCA and Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong. The youth representatives have the opportunity to work in different countries.

    It aims at broadening their horizon, exchanging ideas and cultures, and earning the working experience.
